My Journey

Allen started playing guitar at 10 and had already been singing with his family for years.  He played his first gig at the age of 14 and it was the start of a life long passion and the beginning of a successful career in music.
Allen earned the nickname "Little Wilson" because of his soulful vocal style.  The band, Little Wilson, was formed in 1979  and continues to play to large, enthusiastic crowds.  Renowned for their distinctive R & B style, they cover music from the 1940's to the 1970's.  In 2005 The Little Wilson Band released "Never Too Late", a CD of original and classic blues and swing.
In the 90's Allen was the lead singer for the regionally successful band Cadillac Moon.  Cadillac Moon toured up and down the East Coast promoting their CDs " Plug Me In " and "In the Kitchen".  Their song, "Show Me Your Tattoo" appears in the movie, "The Devil's Advocate".
He still plays with some of the former members of Cadillac Moon in The Walkers.  The Walkers CD, "Best Foot Forward" is a fun collection of covers and originals.
Allen plays regularly as a solo artist all over Long Island and the Tri-State area.
Embarking on a new and exciting journey Allen has finally gone into the studio to record his long awaited solo record featuring all original music. The CD features an eclectic mix of some of Long Island's top musicians that he has been fortunate enough to play with over his long career.  The CD, entitled "Pros & Cons" was released on Paradiddle Records in November of 2015.
